My husband and I recently had the opportunity to play with the Central Florida Golf Club at the private Tuscawilla Country Club in Winter Springs, Florida as a guest of one of the members. As seen in the photograph of the clubhouse, Tuscawilla Country Club is a very pleasant place, offering many other forms of recreation i.e. swimming, club events, etc. Children are welcome, we found two young men ready to skateboard down a favorite bridge
on the tenth hole, (I didn't blame them since it offered two nice ramps), but they quickly decided the weekend wasn't the best time to find it unoccupied.
The wide open fairways allowed less skilled players to avoid penalties during play, but water hazards such as this one, challenged golfers to have enough loft and carry on their drives.

The golf course crosses that particular creek four times and has a number of other water hazards as well as sand traps. Homes on the Tuscawilla golf course were kept pretty much back from the fairways if seen at all, which is very pleasant.
