My husband and I have been exploring golf courses this year, just to get out of our rut of always doing the same thing. We received many recommendations about playing at Eastwood Golf Club, so we tried it out. When we arrived at the golf course, my husband disappeared and didn't come back for maybe 15 minutes or more. I was beginning to think he died--just teasing. But he did arrive, sold on a player's card offered at Eastwood.
The Eastwood Golf Club player's card, cost $59.99, entitled to a free game of golf today. It allows a discount on every game you play at either Eastwood Golf Club, North Shore Golf Club and Stoneybrook Golf Club. We expected to play these courses anyway, so all in all we're going to come out ahead. We met some of the men's club members we'd met at Twin River's Golf Club and they told us that North Shore Golf Club had a $9.99 steak lunch for members. This sounded pretty good to us, meanwhile we dined afterward at Smokey Bones restaurant and enjoyed it a lot.
When I returned home, I found that I'd received a best deal message from Eastwood Golf Club offering a round of golf for $17.99 along with a hot dog and chips for $17.99. I guess that means we'll go back again, soon.
Golf at Eastwood Golf Club for me was challenging but not as difficult as at Twin Rivers Golf Club. For one, the fairways are quite wide especially where you tee off. Many of the holes feature doglegs, many have water hazards but not ones that you are guaranteed to go into.
