Although we often walked the golf course while playing in Washington state, we switched to using a golf cart in Florida because of the heat and preferences at most golf clubs. The course we play most often has a "after 2:00 p.m. free to walk policy" but we, like many others, like to play early in the morning before the worst of the heat.

Eaglemont Golf Club in Mount Vernon, WA, is one of the golf courses we were happy to use a golf cart. It features step inclines, which are very fun when driving because the added height often increases the distance your golf ball travels.
