When we visited China in 2008, my husband and I considered playing golf, but when we looked into a round in Shanghai, we found that playing golf had some hidden costs. One was that since we didn't read Chinese, we'd need a driver to take us. Another was that we'd need to pay for a caddie and for a member of the Communist Party to play with us. So when I did some research recently, I found that golf keeps growing in China.
The Rise of Golf in China offers a few tips on what where to play golf in China and how to arrange a golf tour along with an introduction to some of the hot new golfers in the LPGA and about to enter the LPGA.
One of the youngest golfers is Guan Tianlang, see him on this Youtube.
