On Labor day, Veteran's are asking all golfers to add just $1 to their greens fees in order to pay for scholarships for the children and spouses of Veteran's injured or killed in action.

The first Patriot Day golf benefit was started in 2007. This is the fifth year in a row and what could offer more hope for a future than education?
My dad was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the Air Force but he passed away several years ago. Two of my sisters served in the Army and my nephew in the Air Force and three of my uncles served in the Army during Vietnam. In my husband's family, his father served in the Army, his grandfather on the War Board during World War II in charge of oil. My husband's cousin and her husband also were in the Army.
Be good to the people who have kept America safe. Have a great round of golf on Monday!
